Brooks by Design starts from an Furniture Design honors degree and an MA in Interior design, combined with F-Gas and Gas Safe-qualified installation training, and applies that thinking to where a unit sits, how a pipe run is hidden, and how a room looks once the job is finished. The result is a system that cools the room without looking like it was added to it.
Sam is F-Gas and Gas Safe certified, covering safe refrigerant handling and installation to UK regulatory standards.
All installations are carried out or directly overseen by Sam, with refrigerant-handling and compliance work covered by his own certification.
We visit the property, assess the room(s), and check permitted development eligibility before anything is quoted.
We plan unit placement and pipe routing around the room, not the other way round, and confirm a fixed specification with you and agree layouts.
Installation is carried out cleanly and discreetly, in partnership with a certified engineer for all refrigerant and compliance work.
You get a full walkthrough of the system, care guidance, and a point of contact for anything that comes up afterwards.
Every quote is based on your specific room and system, not a fixed price list. As Brooks by Design does not charge VAT, the price you’re quoted is the price you pay — no 20% added at the end.

Yes. Sam completed his F-Gas and Gas Safe qualifications and is fully certified to install and handle refrigerant to UK safety standards.
A single-room split system is typically a one to two-day job. Multi-split systems vary depending on the number of rooms and pipe runs involved — we'll confirm timing at quote stage.
Wherever possible, no. Concealing pipe runs is a core part of how we plan every installation, not an optional extra.
